She is a co-author in ‘Leadership coaching in China’ and “Passionately striving in why”.
Sabine is a French citizen, but has been an expatriate for over 25 years, living and working in the UK, US, Germany, Argentina, Dubai and China, so has a special interest in helping people overcome the complexities of life and work when they are away from home.
“One of my major motivations for starting Happy Consults is to help expatriates all over the world get the quick and easy access to the experts they need in the language of their choice.
“I know from first hand experience how tough it can be adjusting to different business cultures and to make a new life for you and your family. I have spent most of my working life as an expat fulfilling many roles: a senior executive, an accompanying spouse, and a mum bringing up children born into a ‘third culture’ away from their parents’ homeland.
“The complexities multiply and the need for support is vital. That’s why we’ve made a team of multicultural, multilingual and multidisciplinary experts and consultants available online to provide support, no matter where you are in the world.”
Happiness is wellness
“At Happy Consults, we work with our clients on achieving the state of happiness defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as ‘wellness’.
“A state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” – The World Health Organization.
“Gaining fulfilment at work, reflecting on ourselves, living in the present moment, improving relationships at work, at home, with partners and family, working on that balance is happiness. Also, enjoying what nature has to offer, as well as the little things in life – can bring real joy.
“It’s our mission to help you achieve balance across work, body & mind, relationships and your environment to achieve sustained wellness.” Sabine Menon
