Every year, billions of hectares of forests disappear across the world. It is undeniable that human activity plays the most important role in the destruction of the environment especially the deforestation.

Because of agriculture, animal husbandry or the exploitation of raw materials, men destroy a large area of forest each year. Add to this the various natural disasters such as fires or floods which do not spare precious forests, we ask the question: if all forests disappear from the face of the earth, what would happen?

Playing crucial roles for the earth, forests and trees that grow on it also stand out as important elements for sustaining life on the planet.

Trees serve above all to purify the air and thus contribute to reducing environmental pollution but are also the refuge of many animal, vegetal and mineral species, especially for larger forests in which an important ecosystem is found.
Trees and forests also help to reduce natural disasters such as landslides, gusts of wind and soil erosion.
If forests were to completely disappear, the earth would quickly become unlivable and even if human technology could somehow slow down the consequences of this, it would only be for a very short duration because without trees, life on the planet would be impossible – potentially leading to the disappearance of all terrestrial animal species.
